Terms of Service for Channels 2024-10-03

These terms applies to your access to, and use of, Ampliphy.me (“the service”, “the platform”) as provided by Ampliphy.me AB (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

All parties involved agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of, and to the laying of venue in, Sweden.

All terms outlined in the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy also apply to Channels on the platform, in addition to the specific terms detailed here.

Content

The content that you post and/or sell on the platform remains your property; you retain all rights to it. However, by posting content on the platform, you grant Ampliphy.me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to list, reproduce, transcode, copy, store, distribute, synchronize, stream, and/or sell that content on your behalf. This license applies across all current and future technologies or media.

Content that you upload will be accessible to third parties according to the permissions you set. Be aware that while third parties have access to your content, they can and may make copies of it. If they lose access to your content—either because you change the permissions or because you remove it from the platform—any copies they have made will remain accessible to them, and Ampliphy.me has no control over such copies.

You agree that Ampliphy.me AB is not responsible for the integrity, safety, or quality of the files that you upload to the platform. While we take reasonable steps to ensure that all uploaded files are free from viruses, malware, or other harmful components, we cannot guarantee that every file is safe.

You agree that you are responsible for ensuring that every file that you upload to the platform are safe, secure, and free from any harmful elements. You acknowledge that the platform provides no guarantees or warranties regarding the safety or performance of the files, and all use of the platform is at the user's own risk.

Payments & Charges

Ampliphy.me charges a 10% fee on the sum total of all sales made through the platform, in addition to any applicable payment processing fees, sales tax and/or currency conversion fees.

By listing and selling digital content on our platform, you acknowledge and agree that we may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in the event of any issues with the purchased content that cannot be resolved through reasonable efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, instances where the content is defective, misrepresented, or otherwise fails to meet the agreed-upon standards. You further understand and accept that any refunds issued by the platform will be deducted from your account balance and/or future payouts.

Payouts

Your share of each sale of items that you make available for purchase on your channel will be calculated as follows: 90% of the sum total of the sale price, excluding any applicable taxes, minus any payment processing and/or currency conversion fees.

You may request a payout of your share starting 7 days after the transaction has been paid.

Upon your request, a PayPal Payout link will be sent to your associated email address. This link will provide instructions on how to access your funds. If you do not already have a PayPal account, you may be required to create one to receive your payout.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have access to the email account that the link will be sent to. Once you have sent in a payout request to us and PayPal has accepted it we are no longer responsible for the money or for the payout.

Sales Tax

The platform may collect applicable sales taxes in addition to the price that you set for each item. All prices displayed on the platform are exclusive of taxes. Depending on the location of you and/or the customer involved in a transaction, sales taxes will be calculated and applied at checkout. These taxes are collected in compliance with local regulations and will be added to the total amount charged to the customer. You should take into account that the final price paid by the customer may include these additional taxes.

Once money is paid out to you you will be responsible for applicable income taxes. Note that we are not tax advisors, and that we strongly encourage you to consult with a tax attorney.

Updates and Changes to these terms

As time passes and Ampliphy.me grows, both in regards to usage and features, these terms may need to be expanded and updated. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes. A notice will also be added to the site. Changes take effect as of the date that they are published. Your continued use of the platform after this date means that you have agreed to the updated terms.

From this date, all previous versions ceases to apply in any way, shape or form, to all data provided or transmitted before or after the update. The date of the last update will be noted and links to past versions will be included.
